“sweet venting”

LG makes one heck of a directional vent. Where others fail at making a turn, LG has went full circle. The angle of bend is at exactly 90 degrees and the normally sharp edges have been deburred. We love the dryer, but this vent kit is the most shoddily made piece of sheet metal that you could imagine. We live in a rural area and were moving into a new home and badly needed to wash and dry, or I would have returned this piece of junk. “Possible to make?”

If you are an installer - makes sense to by the kit.

If you are a homeowner and want to save a few bucks, you can get an elbow and a 2' length of pipe for ~$10. The original pipe included in the machine can be reused. Just seal it up good and anchor to the base. Makeshift a cover for the old hole.

“If you need this kit buy it from Sears!”

I read the reviews before purchasing the kit and was a bit concerned regarding the review that said it was a cheap piece of metal but for a 50% savings for what other sites are charging for this unit I was willing to take the risk.   As mentioned in one review it is a very small box so the shipping charges are a bit ridiculous which forced me to select the store pickup option.    Everything went as designed, the deliver beat the ETA, the in store pickup worked very well and when I opened up the box my first thought was "this is no cheap piece of metal".   The kit is made by LG...

“new laws require vent kit be placed with new appliances”

When my daughter purchased this vent for her new washer dryer , we were advised its a safety law and requried to have . to me its to large it maes my appliances stand out away from the wall to much where i need to extend my door in order to put the closet door back on. wish it could be smaller other tha that its hiden behind my appliance

“4 stars”

The kit was just as expected. Sturdy and better than piecing one together with parts from a home improvement store. Do not like the way you must pick up . The box is relatively small and weighs little yet is a $65 delivery fee to order online. It makes no sense for a 3# box.
