This review is NOT a knock on the LG refrigerator we wanted to purchase from Sears. It is specifically a knock on the appliance delivery / installation system Sears has in place. We feel it is FLAWED! We ordered an LG refrigerator from Sears on a Friday and was told they had one available in thier system and would be delivered on Sunday. We got an automated call the night before (Saturday) and was told it would be delivered / installed between 1:00 - 4:00PM. We got a call Sunday morning and was told our refrigerator would not be delivered that day. Sears rescheduled the delivery for Tuesday. We once again received an automated phone message stating the time window we should expect our appliance to be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday we get another call stating the delivery has been cancelled and would have to be rescheduled for Thursday. To make a long story short, this happened five (5) times. Each time we would get an automated phone message the night before stating the four hour window we should be home to receive the appliance only to have it cancelled the day of delivery. We spoke with a manager after the fourth time to try to find our what exactly was the problem. She informed us each time they expected a delivery during the night to thier warehouse only to find out in the morning the appliance did not arrive at the warehouse. We told Sears if the appliance did not get delivered on the fifth (5) time we would cancel the order and go somewhere else. Well, of course we got a call on the morning of the fifth attempt to deliver and was told it would not happen that day. We cancelled the order and went to BestBuy and bought the same LG refrigerator. We bought it on a Friday and was promised a Monday delivery / installation. Our refrigerator was delivered/installed as promised from BestBuy. We love the refrigerator (high marks), so again this is not a knock on the appliance. Sears should not promise a delivery to a customer if they are not sure they can actually deliver it. Usually three (3) times and your out. We gave Sears five (5) chances and they FAILED!
