A year ago, we moved to a new state, and left all of our old appliances at our old house. I was excited at the prospect of getting all new appliances, especially a front loading washing machine, in particular the LG Tromm Steam Washer. I have twins, so laundry is my number 1 priority. I was thrilled when it was delivered, and I immediately started doing laundry! Not only am I saving on laundry detergent and water, but I'm also saving on time! Easy to use. No problems whatsoever. I can get at least 2x the clothes done per load than my last washer, not to mention our bedding fitting with no problem. I love the matching dryer equally!
Does a very nice job cleaning. Started out very very quiet but progresively getting more noisy. Has more features than you need. Save a bunch of money and get a front load Energy Star unit with only the features you're going to use.
I was badly injured 8 years ago and cannot use a traditional top load washer. Front load washers allow me to do my family's laundry. I had another front load washer but it did not survive a move from TX to GA. My LG TROMM is quiet, saves water, energy and uses less detergent and survived yet another move.
