I was instructed by a dear friend who is a former salon owner and stylist who always steers me in the right dirI was instructed by a dear friend who is a former salon owner and stylist who always steers me in the right direction and often colors and styles my hair, I would say nine times out of ten in the last fifteen years, she does my hair. I was her Guinea Pig before becoming a stylist! She has tons of experience both before and after, so I trust her judgement. I also find in my own experience for L'oreal Feria, Loreal L'Oreal Feria Pure Intense Lightening Kit, Blonding, Extra Bleach Blonde to be the absolute best in performance and gentlest lightening bleach you can buy in a store without having it be salon quality. I am quite sure its not that far off and pretty gentle as far as something that drastic goes. I have gone from semipermanent to black with this only having to apply it twice, to get it platinum. It was gorgeous, my hair wasn't broken, after a trim, and it was shiny. I could not believe how well this product worked without stripping from black, that is amazing! I don't suggest playing with something that drastic if you are inexperienced with hair, but if you know what I am talking about and have some experience with this, this is the way to go!
