Lands' End Men's Regular Short Sleeve Madras Shirt —
I bought one of these in 'Chambray' color and wish I'd bought 3 in different colors...these shirts are colorful, stylish and comfortable...and ideal for an outdoor event in South Florida's summer heat. Madras fabric is a particularly fine weave of cotton fibers that is lightweight and breathable...but that retains its colors. Lands End clearly spared no expense in having these shirts made with the best quality materials, and the fit/finish is superb.
Press them lightly with a steam iron. You can use a little spray starch if you like in the collar to help it stand up and lay down where it needs to - but I wouldn't use it anywhere else...it'll cause you to build up heat around your body when you want to stay cool!
I just blew through the Lands End department at Sears looking for more of them, and they were completely sold out; I'm shopping online now for more. I found my size in brown plaid for $12 (darn it - none in green plaid my size), and will gladly pay the extra $6 shipping.
It's a good quality Madras shirt...you can't put a price on that!
