“Lands' End is a winner, just well hidden”
The most well kept, hidden secret in clothing is perhaps Lands' End. It was and is still mostly a catalogue and online retail brand but the move into Sears can be good, provided Sears supports the brand across the chain with care.
My biggest reccomendation is to slowly phase out other clothing at Sears - especially the ones that compete with Lands' End in the first place. Basically that means get rid of oxfords, buttondowns, khakis, sundresses and other category killers that are not doing Sears or lands' End any favors.
And Lands' End is well designed, and competes with J. Crew. If Lands' End can maintain that steady image, and improve some of the marketing - I see this as a gem in the rough. Always a steady buyer of Polo and JCrew, and Jos. A banks, I now found Lands' End but the hard way (by reading about it in my research of Sears Holdings)
