I breastfed my 2 year old son till he was 1 & now im breastfeeding my 8 week old. Product works great all though I use Vaseline & Pet. Jelly when I ran out which worked just about the same! I believe as long as you have something on there then the cracking will be relieved after awhile. Give it a try!

I've been looking for a soft soothing breast cream like this and after having tried different brands I finally found one that works well with my skin type.  The smell is nice and it glides on easily and effortlessly.  I cannot say enough good things about this product. I hope it works for you too.

A lifesaver

I don't think I would have survived breastfeeding in the beginning without this.  It works great to soothe and to prevent cracks and soreness.  I would put it on after every feeding, and it worked great.  It is a little sticky which makes it a bit messy to put on sometimes, but that's not a huge deal.

When learning to nurse my first baby, I used this cream all the time for the first few months.  It really helped to heal the cracking and blisters that came from my inexperience as a nursing Mom.  With my second baby, I didn't need it as much, but did use it for the first few weeks as I adjusted to nursing again.  My only complaint is that the cream is very difficult to remove from clothing because it is so greasy.

Gotta Have THIS!

This cream is the best.  Early on when I first started breastfeeding it was quite painful and I would get cracked nipples and I'd be sore.  It wasn't because of improper latching. Everything has an adjustment period.  This cream helped me to adjust and I haven't had any pain since.  I absolutely have to have a tube of this cream handy.  It helps to lubricant the flanges when I pump so that I can avoid dry and cracked nipples due to pumping.

I have used this while breastfeeding all of my 4 kiddos...It is expensive, but worth every penny! A little also goes a long way. Also, if you have leftovers, you can use it on scrapes or dry skin as well!

I just had to ask my Mom today to give me back my lansihno cream that I had lent to her when she had a rash a while back.

Basically why I need it now, is because my 11 month old daughter has just started to try out her 3 new top teeth on my nipple as she comes off from her last sip at the breast. It is very painful and I am probably going to wean, but this cream is awesome for healing cracked nipples w/ any blood, or from my earlier nursing days really purple sore nipples.

This stuff really does work, and if you're like me you'll get one tube, and that tube will last you your whole nursing experience....

I received a small tube of Lansinoh in the hospital after my daughter was born. First I thought I would't use it, but it came to be very helpful when my breasts started hurting after a few days. When I got home from the hospital, I bought another tube and used it every time after I nursed. Without it, who knows if I would have continued nursing...

Prevents chapped lips

I used to use vasoline every night to prevent chapped lips, but I had concerns about using a petroleum product so often.  Out of many products that I've tried, I've never found any other that is as good as vasoline, until I found this.  It is water insoluble and absorbs deep into the skin.  It is also almost identical in composition to the oils naturally produced by skin.

A must have

I'm a first time mom and had to buy this after I started nursing my daughter when she was born. It worked great during the sore and cracked moments. It is very easy to apply and works fast to soothe you before your child's next feeding time. I would recommend to all breastfeeding moms.

I nursed my daughter for about 7 months and never experienced dry, cracked skin like so many other nursing moms. I do not apply the cream after every feeding, but I just use it about twice a day to make sure my skin stays soft and moisturized. This little bottle will last you forever!

a must have

I have been brestfeeding my baby for one year now and have used this product a lot. while starting off nursing, while baby is teething, while baby goes through any changes you might need it again. Also good as chapstick. Natural and safe for mom and baby. Be careful not to get any on your outer clothes it may be hard to get out.
