Purchased when?

Do you have a receipt?

What is the return reason?

Sony VAIO® 64GB SSD Intel® 1.3GHz 11.1 in. Widescreen Notebook PC

I just received it 4 days ago. I have not opened it. I still have the receipt. I decide to buy a cheaper laptop. I get it from UPS. I mean I have not opened the package. Can I bring it to Sears store to return because I dont want to pay shipping cost. Will I be charge 15% restocking fee?

I believe you have 30 days to return it.  Most sears full line stores will accept it even though it was purchased online.  If you have not opened the box they should not charge you a 15% restocking fee.  make sure you have the packing slip and or the email you received saying that it was shipped.

14 days to return. No restocking fee if it's unopened.

You can return online orders to any Sears store with proof of purchase.

Alright...

Good luck with the less expensive model.

My daughter got a Deluxe game capable lap top - a bit of an expense for a Literature major...

well, here's my issue.... bought a laptop from sears.com on here March 3,2010.... thought I was getting a good deal... the product description of the laptop had everything I was looking for.... we put it on our Sears Card and as soon as I got it via UPS, we went to the store that night and made a cash payment... well, the next day I figured out that 3 of the features listed in the product description are NOT ON THE LAPTOP !! So I immediately contacted customer service and asked about returning it... initially they told me that I could return it to a store or have it picked up via UPS and they would "credit" our card! Well.... I dont want a credit... our card has a ZERO balance !! I want my money back.... now they say that it CAN NOT be taken back to the store because it was sold thru a VENDOR... however on the website it states "sold by Sears".... They are still telling me that I can NOT take it back to the store and that I can NOT get my MONEY back, only a "Credit"... they have even sent UPS to our house to pick it up.... It's been packed up in the box now for over a month but I dont know what else to do... I certainly dont want to send it back via UPS... then I might get stuck empty handed for sure !! I even got online to sears.com and ask a live respresentative how to go about returning an item and she first said that I could return it to a store or have it shipped but then stated that an item had to be shipped if it was shipped UPS.... and that Sears would not issue money back only a "credit"..... Grrrr I dont know what else to do !!!

Well you can return it within 30 days from the date of purchase as long as everything in the original box is there, even if it's opened. If you did not receive the item as described, just go to any retail store and talk to the electronics department manager. They will return it for sure!

I work at sears..

If it was sold by sears then they will accept the return...U can use the kiosk at the store to open the website and search for the product right there!
