It was worth the price. I have had several of those dual Holmes window fans in each window and they couldn't achieve what this single fan has achieved which is from end-to-end of the home, draw air thru the whole thing.
The only negative I have is that I beleive that the plastic casing of the fan will become more brittle in time and if dropped may crack.
Shopping was quick and timely at the Sears store in Scranton, PA
This is a great fan for a large roon. It is much quieter than you would expect it to be. It is super powerful. I love the exhaust feature as well. It is very big so make sure to measure your window first before ordering
