I have another fan like this and liked it so much that I purchased a second. I especially like the remote and the fact that the height is adjustable. Can sit it in a corner in back of furniture and it is high enough to get over the furniture. Is quiet and works very well.
Purchased this fan on 5/2/08. It was very easy to assemble and immediately began to use it. I use it in my kitchen because it gets pretty warm at times. Love the remote control because I can adjust the speed anytime I want to. It runs quietly on the first 2 speeds, and the 3rd speed is not too loud, but mostly I use it on speed 1 and 2.
I bought one and liked it so much I bought a second...
They are quiet and efficient...
I love my new fan! It sits behind my treadmill and is high enough off the ground to blow on my back keeping me cool without needing to prop it up on a chair. The remote comes in handy allowing me to increase the fan speed without having to get off the treadmill. Works perfectly!
Ultra quiet on low setting, but for those who like a louder white noise, settings 2 & 3 will do the trick. No discernible oscillation noises, just the steady hum of the fan. Timer works well, and the remote is great for lazy people like me :) Narrow stream of air is perfect for couples who are split in terms of air circulation in bed: my wife hates wind blowing on her, while I love it.
very satisfied with this fan. I use on highest setting most of the time and while it maybe could be a little bit stronger at that speed, it still works really well with very little noise. easy to assemble.. took me about 5 minutes.
Very easy to set-up right out of the box. Quiet on all speeds and oscillating covers a pretty big range.
Only minor complaint is that all the speeds seem like they should be one level up. Setting 1 is quite weak. Seems like medium speed should've been low and high should be medium. Wish it had one more powerful setting.
Anyway, definitely a good fan for the $ and very high quality. Looks pretty good too.
The space-saving feature was a big PLUS when I bought 2 of these fans. I had the old round fans which were clunky and took up too much space. A nifty feature is the directional lever which allows control of the air flow to be straight or pointing up - this is great instead of having to adjust the top part of the old round fans. Highly recommend this fan.
This is a remarkably good fan. Excellent for creating breezes in the summer doldrums. It is quiet, generates a great air and is easy to place due to its shape and size. The best fan I've ever had! Try it, you'll come back like I did and buy several!! IT IS THE BEST VALUE I'VE EVER GOTTEN ON AN APPLIANCE!!!
I have had this fan for a couple of weeks and so far it works great, its pretty quiet so its even nice for a bedroom and takes up very little space and the breeze is much better than I expected from this type of fan, the remote works well and putting it together was simple.
Overall best product for the dollar.
Good for tight spaces and very quiet. Does not provide as much air movement as a table fan. Good for bedroom application close to bed, but does not move air around larger spaces.
Great product but color is not accurately displayed on website. Product is not in the color silver.
