works great

When placed about 3 feet in front of your easy chair and by using the "Low" setting one may achieve perhaps the most comfortable and circulation promoting environment possible - especially if you wear loose socks and pj's or sweat pants or even in your robe if you remember to moisturize the front...

This heater worked great for several weeks.  But all of a sudden it stopped working.  I may have just gotten a fluke, but I will be returning it and getting something else.  I have another Lasko ceramic tower heater that I bought last year and its still great.  It was just not available when I purchased...

Small but Mighty

I needed a portable heater for my room its the only room of the house that doesn't get enough heat. I have gone through several portable heaters that just don't seem to last. So I got this one and have had it for a while. It not only throws out great heat but it has lasted. Well worth the money

On cold nights, this lightweight tower is the perfect solution to heat up a bedroom without being overpowering. I LOVE the fact that this oscillates AND I have a remote to shut it off right when I am ready to sleep without getting out of bed.

Great price. Easy to find at my local Sears.

this thing is awesome...small yet powerful..love the remote feature...ain't too noisy either..best of all, i don't have to worry about my 2 yr old accidentally touching it because no exterior part is hot when this is running...cuts down my gas bill by a few bucks every month !

Furnace quit working - just as it got cold. Part cost 500 and out of work thanks to economy. Food bank reccomends portable heater until I can find a better fix. Read local ads; missed this model on sale at Ace by one week at 45.Remembered I had Sears gift card for 50 from cash for energy saver cash for clunkers frig purchase 041610 when Sears delivered a dead frig, then took sev days finding a replacement and my remaining food spoilt; corp sent the gift card as apology. Read sears choices of heaters, prices, and reviews online. This one ranks very well. Go to buy next day, Sat 103010, 60 bucks....

Lisa Lirones loves this heater. Use: during power outtages, plug this in while on generator power. Remote works great. Moves from side-to-side (oscillates) while in operation to warm the space evenly. Lisa Lirones recommends this Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater from Sears to anyone who is looking for a great heater at a great cost. Easy to use. Just take out of box, plug in, put batteries in the remote and sit back and warm up. Because it is from Sears, you can trust this appliance's performance. Lasko did a good job on this model and Sears is wise to offer it.

Works well

This model was sold out last year, so as soon as it came in stock this year I purchased one and am happy I did. We are trying to keep our utility bills in better control this year and in the past I usually cranked up the heat early in the morning so the kitchen was toasty while I had breakfast. With this heater and its oscillation function, I no longer have to do it. It takes the chill out of the air and really warms up the room to a comfortable level. My husband, who has been ill and is frequently cold, enjoys it as well because he can have the heater going in the room he is in versus having the...

I found this unit to be very good. I love the remote control and timer. Ifact I like all the features of this unit.

We live down stairs which is half underground and it gets pretty cool.

The unit works very well to keep the temperature at a comfortable level.

I would recomend this unit to everyone.

Awesome Heater

I bought this heater a couple days before Christmas to help warm my family room, which is adjacent to the garage and on the lower level of my bi-level home. The lower part of the house is always about 10+ degrees lower than the upper part of the house. Majority of the time it is freezing downstairs. This is my second winter in the house, and this heater has done wonders within the past week. Now we can sit downstairs in our family room and enjoy watching movies without bundling up. It not only heats the family room, but the heat carries over to the entire downstairs area, including two bedrooms.... read full review »

Excellent

I purchased this heater after reading many reviews. All were good so I gave this a try. I am very pleased. Last night it was 9 degrees and running this unit in my living room was producing enough heat that our house heater did not turn on for 4 hours. It maintained the house temp. wonderfully. I am still waiting for the electric bill to see how much we will save using this. Great Buy. Highly recommended for the money!!!

Cannot live without this product!!!

I bought this heater because it had great reviews but I was little skeptical because the cost was so cheap. This heater was set up in my children's room and it worked wonders. The room stayed warm all night long and it stopped running once it got to the set temperature of 70 degrees, but once the room temp would drop under 70 degrees it would start warming the room up again. I could not have asked for a better product. The price is great and it did its job keeping my children cozy and warm, would definitely recommend this product to others.

5 stars

I have a big oil heater that is used for the whole house. With kerosene being as high as it is, I decided to buy some electric heaters and not use the oil heater. I bought three of these and placed them throughout the house. I put them on 70 at night while we are home and 65 while we are gone. Works great so far!
