The store is up to TWO gasoline powered machines that ARE NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA.

We can not even "display" this merchandise.

One machine is two digits off, the proper California equivalent product.

The other machine is an "08", instead of a "18" model number.

So close!

Wow sounds  like you guys are having some issues with those blasted epa guidleines. Do we make products that would fit the current guidelines?

Sure do!

In most cases, the products look almost EXACTLY the same.

Cept'n for the Abe Lincoln hat gas caps on the mowers (evaporative emission control).

Someone was "concerned" about the out of state shipments of lawn and garden machines!

This is an on-going issue, that Sears in general, needs to address.

The selling of the high-wheel trimmer is "hampered" by the fact that the machine (either model number) is not even "set up" for ordering or sales.

This issue WAS brought up to the Husquvarna rep on a store visit.

I don't think the action item got very far...

However, once the explosion of clothing in the warehouse subsides, I'm sure the two useless machines issue will be eventually resolved...

I used to have access to writing "trouble tickets".

Now, that was some serious hockey puck shuffling!

The store's got a high-wheel trimmer AND a rear-tine tiller that are, "NOT TO BE SOLD IN CALIFORNIA".

Wow AdamO I hope you guys can straighten that up for the customer's sake!

It's store-stock right now.

It doesn't show up on the register (not being  California sellable items).

There's just a couple of "holes" in store inventory, where the PROPER model number items should be.

Sending it back is similar to a Salmon "going back" down stream...

The solution?

Read the BIG letters saying NOT FOR CALIFORNIA SALE.

No problemo.

They're right out in the main warehouse isle, with "Don't count" signs on them.

The non-salable, non-California Lawn & Garden machines are being returned to the vendor(s).

It seems they both "scanned" as zero-value items on the RTV Associate's SNC.

Ba... Bye!

You bet!

Can't sell it in this state.

Send it back!

Maybe in the future, the various shipping folks will be able to read the big'ol shipping labels - stating NOT to send to California?

Trade?

We wish.

There ain't no California tiller come'n.

And, the California high-wheel trimmers aren't even "set up" for store sale.

You can buy it on the Internet, though.
