Which type do you prefer for your Leaf Blower gas or electric? Why?

I choose door #3 - Cordless. No need to mess with gas, or the hassle of dragging around and winding up an extention cord.

To answer specifically between the two, I would go with electric. It is quieter and thus better for neighborhood relations.

I have electric, because I've got a small yard.

But, if I could have my fantasy product, it would be a propane-powered leafblower. Is this something that the L&G crew is looking to adopt from Lehr?

I'd love to own a propane powered blower/leaf vacuum, too.

300 feet of extension cord is a LOT of cord to manage.

Maybe a little propane-powered electric generator, carried in the trailer of the Craftsman Lawn Tractor?

Or, a C3 powered Invertor?

Bless your heart ChelseaP.

That looks like a good Birthday present target.

The LEHR should probably be in stock by around February.

Imagine the freedom of going over the meadow, through the grove, across the foot bridge and up into the woods to "mulch" decades of forest fodder fast.

You know FFF!

I DO hope that thing has a "metal" impeller/mulching blade.

I wonder how hard it would be to "sharpen" the blade?

I'd seen the propane version on Lehr's site. I was just wondering if it was going to be adopted as a Craftsman product, or if it would remain a Lehr brand product. I guess I wasn't wholly clear.

I use an electric leaf blower..It has plenty of power and the cord is not a problem to handle.

300 feet of cord is a "bit much" for me to handle, up in the forested area of the property.

I wonder if the Lehr propane blower will be available in the stores, next year?

Hey, Chelsea:

No question.  Love the power of gas, particularly on a blower.  Electric is cool, but hate the air flow and the cord.

The cord is great for practicing my Zoro moves...
