Just bought the River Stone table & chairs... salesgirl told me the center umbrella holder piece could be removed if you don't want an umbrella... yet in looking at it, the black metal piece that holds the umbrella appears to be welded in place.  Has anyone been able to remove the umbrella hole piece and replace with a matching tile piece?

Thanks for your question, I believe someone in the community will be able to help you.

What do you think about the patio set? Is it comfortable?

There are four small tack welds holding the center metal square in place.

A Rotary Tool, like a Dremel, with an abrasive cut-off wheel, will make short work of the welds.

The manufacturer, Garden Oasis, will need to be contacted for a matching tile.

The 800 contact number is on the product cards hanging on any of the display patio furniture, in the store.

I noticed a plain slate tile, at a local hardware store, looked really close to the Riverstone set's tiles.

You just need to make sure to check for tile "thickness".

Good luck.

We're almost to the "end" of the patio furniture season.

The boxes of toys are starting to accumulate on the specially built shelving area in the warehouse.

And, two rolls of display "snow" have arrived.

There is one lone patio set left on the whole display floor!

The 7-piece display set is now a  5-piece display set (2 chairs donated to Customer Satisfaction).

What a deal!

Sorry...

No matching umbrella.

The one umbrella left on the floor only matches ONE other set, already sold out of.

We're talk'n only about one more week before the Winter Wonderland AND Toy Display AND Holiday Tool Gift display areas are set up.

By who?

Details...

Details.

They'll be UP!

We're not assorted for a tool bar this year.

I'm horribly upset. But certainly not by the lack of opportunity to assemble the damn thing.

There's ALWAYS the toy isles, though.

Yay...

Argh!
