The kids love to listen to the song and sound of the letters. The only problem is it can get too repetitive hearing it over and over again. There is a volume control which if you can convince the children to keep on low is nice. I would recommend it and even buy it as a gift for young children.
I have this on my refrigerator and my girls love to put the letters in and here what sounds it makes. The letter also help my girls learn how to write their letters. THey can find the letter and then copy what they see. Great toy!!!

I first set out to buy my daughter a standard set of fridge alphabet letters, but ended up buying this instead. I liked that she could explore the letter names and sounds on her own because she is very independant. I also like that I can turn the volume down low of off depending on what best fits the situation. Her favorite feature is the alphabet song. She plays it over and over as she sings along. IT has been nearly a year since she got this toy and still loves it.
One down side is the size of the letters, they do take up alot of room on the fridge, and she can not spell with them, because...
