I am haveing trouble finding 501s that haven't been pre-washed and pre-faded. They all look half worn out. When I pay for new pants I want NEW PANTS. I've been buying Levi' 501's for fourty years and this is the first pair I've ever had that the button holes are fraying. I hope this is not a sign of things to come!
