I've always worn baggy jeans like boot-cut or carpenter jeans. Therefore, I was a little skeptical trying these on at Sears. Since my wife was with me and she liked them, I bit the bullet and tried them on.
After being initially stunned at how good they feel, they also look good. Overall, the color, fading and design is great. The pricing is in line with other styles of Levi's. When compared to my older Levi's boot-cut jeans it is quite obvious that the jean material is thinner, lightweight and breathable. I am a big fan of these jeans. They look nice, feel great and the slim style is perfect for when i ride my bike. I hate when bulky, loose jeans get caught in the chain or handlebars.
These jeans look and fit great and are at a great price-the Levi's quality is there in these jeans-a definite favorite.
The Famous levi 501 revolutionized the world with its strong durability and sense of style and fashion to the world, but Levi's has yet made another ground breaking pair of denim the 514 slim straight leg jean. Too many people the 501 seems to be a bit baggy or on the oversize but for those looking for a more fitted look and feel the 514 is perfect for you. These marvelous jeans are right in between the Levi 501 and 511 with this denim not being too loose nor tight and slim. The jeans are extremely comfortable. I like the feel of the material and the stiching is very stylish. I only wish these jeans came in more colors.
I've always worn levis and these 514s fit better than most I've found,I am 5'7 150lbs & I feel like these were made for my build
These jeans are slim enough to be stylish and loose enough to be comfortable to wear everyday.
The waist size seems a bit larger than the number implies, so I would size down an inch or two...but nothing a belt and a few wash/dry cycles can't fix.
Great color! First wash bled a lot and of course I had some white tshirts in the load. Lesson learned.
Great jeans! Bought two pair of black for work. Very comfortable and the price was super!
