Here is a great wireless router. It's easy to install and very simple to setup. Since it's a router that's been out on the market a while it's easy to find tips on how to do all sorts of configurations for it, even if your new to computers and need lots of hand holding. Linksys products are great and very reliable. I've taken mine on two deployments to Iraq and it's taken it's far share of beating and still works like a champ. The only possible reason i would ever think of upgrading my router is to get a "N" version but since i don't have any "N" products I'm thinking i'll be holding on to this...

This wirless router is great! It's not that expensive so anyone can purchase it. This will allow you to expand your high speed internet around the house. I bought 1 for my house and now during the holidays when all of my relatives and friends come over they can all log on without a problem using their laptops. Whether you're using a PC or a Mac you'll be able to surf the net. We've had 6 or more laptops running of the wireless at one time over Christmas and the internet didnt slow down a bit. The WRT54GS is a networking standby. Nowadays, it lacks a lot of cutting edge features, but at the same time it manages to incorporate lots of useful technology into a very affordable package. While the ethernet ports are limited to 10/100 speeds, and Wireless G has now been effectively replaced with Wireless N, these slightly older tried-and-true standards prove to be more than enough for most users, and thats the WRT54GS's best feature - being very usable for just about anyone.

For the price it's great for beginers a basic wireless router security is great to since it gives two options old 128bit or new giga protection, it come with nortan secuirty suite and firewall which is a plus but if your running a firewall just read the instruction before you turn off your firewall. it's really easy to set up if you use a Cable moden or DSL. Well that's it have fun of High speed.
