So I'm new to Chicago and I try out the following Deep dish pizza places: Gino's East, Giordano's, and Lou Malnati's. The winner for me was Lou Malnati's! The crust isn't as buttery, but it's crispy and will hold up with all the toppings in the pizza. The ingredients inside the pizza weren't mushy, compared to Gino's and Giordano's. Maybe it's because Lou Malnati's slices are thinner, or maybe they cook it longer -- but one thing's for sure: it's the best deep dish i've had so far in chicago!

In my opinion, Lou Malnati's is the best Chicago stye deep dish around.  Of course, i'm a relative novice when it comes to this stuff, having just moved out here half a year ago, but i've found their crust to be the right consistency of crunchy and flavorful (i think it's called a butter crust).  Also their thin crust pizza is not bad either (and you don't have to wait as long for it to cook).  Much better than Gino's East, Due, etc.  Definitely my favorite deep dish in the city.
