My husband and I like to travel but we were very limited on where to go. Now that we have purchased our new GPS system from Sears our road is endless. The Magellan Gps is top of the line, easy to use and understand.

5 stars

So far I am impressed with this unit. It is easy to use and seems to be quite accurate. Far better than the factory system in our 2006 Jeep.

possible defect?

unit operates well , the only thing i could fuss about is the power plug on the unit its self. the 12volt power adapter and the 120volt power adapter seem to be loose in the unit causing the unit to become confused as to run on internal battery or from external power source. im sure magellan will warranty this defect.

easiest GPS ever

i gave this magellan 4000 to my 60yr old mother. she is just delighted with it. it's so easy to set the addresses and it's loud enough for my mother to hear, and its easy to follow. it is just great! the screen is large enough for my mother to see the name of the streets. the menu is very simple she had no trouble using it for the first time. she has a GPS built in her vehicle (06 mercedes benz) and she cannot use it. it's too complicated she says. but she loves this magellan.

hellooooooooo america!

II have had this item for 3 years now and originaly got this on my b-day a few years ago and we use it all the time for going away trips, shopping, etc. The Magellan GPS 3200 Portable devince has many pro's: its very affordable, efficient to use, portable 6in x 6 in size LCD screen, U.S.B compatable to any computer. This device also comes with an easy mount to your car and is very high tech pin point accuracy, deals with addresses, names , also If you go outside what the GPS 3200 Magellan device tells you, it will repoint you to another route to help you get to your destination on time and lets...

Sweet GPS system

I have reasearched the many portable gps systems for about a month and narrowed my decision to two sys. The Garmin C340 and the Maestro 4000. Well I chose the 4000 and have been very pleased with the unit. Navteq maps,SIRF star III and a 4.3 inch screen really make this a very nice sys. Others in this price range have smaller 3 inch screens. A trip to Northern VA,Washington DC area more than proved that this thing was worth its weight in gold. I`ll never leave home without it. It is very easy to use and gives simple turn by turn instruction. Makes for an easy laid back and relaxed drive. The only... read full review »

Don't forget the SD card

In short, this navigation tool is a great buy. My wife has a navigation system built into her 2006 Infiniti and the Magellan 4000 has more features. I'm happy with this product.
