My daughter's job is located in one of the largest cities/counties in the U.S.. I purchased this from K Mart for her for Christmas.. She has called several times raving about how great it is.. and how simple it is to use.. Instead of turning around in horrible traffic, she says it immediately guides her to a simple route, keeping her on the same side of the street.. I can hardly wait to purchase my son, my other daughter, and myself one.. As a Mother, I want to thank you for this product. That's why I call it "A Mom's Guardian Angel. Thanks again..
i got this GPS to replace one I used to have and this one is much better, because it tells you highway exit numbers and which side of the street your target address is on. I would have given it 5 stars but sometimes it says you are going to bear right when in fact you are turning right. Not a big deal but I find it irritating. Other than that it's great!
I received this for a Christmas present, and I really like it. It is clear, easy to read, and easy to understand.
I had shopped around for a GPS unit for awhile and ran across this magellen 3100 series... It looked easy enough to operate (which it is) and it seemed to be just the right size for my vehicle.. This was the best purchase I made ... The price was right, It is very accurate and the kool part about it is that it automatically dims down when it becomes dark so it is easy to see but it does not blind you while you are driving.... Plus it has points of interest and you can also save your directions...
I love my GPS unit I wouldn't trade it for anything...
I bought this unit about a month ago, and I have not gotten lost once. Aside from it not voicing out the street names that it wants you to turn on, like the more expensive units do, it's unbeatable in this price range. Don't get me wrong, it does have them all labeled, you just have to look at the screen every now and then. For around 200 dollars it's a brilliant piece of machinery. The screen shows everything down to Mom & Pop stores on the map, if you have your POI's (Points of Interest) set for that. Directions are faultless. I just can't praise this enough. I would definitly recommend this...

I have a husband that was lost in Boston at night and so nervous he called me in the middle of the night because I work in Boston and he doesn't. I talked him out and till home and bought this gps the very next day. It's a great unit but what can you expect with Maghellan.
It tells you how to get where you want to go and you don't need to look at maps while driving. Peaise God!!!! It has some blind spots but it is updateable.
