This is not the GPS for you. It takes forever to actually find a signal if it ever does.... I have absolutely no problem with my girlfriends garmin, but this one picks up squat. You are at your destination before you get a signal. This item was returned. Maybe I got a bad one, but I doubt it. I would stay away from this one.

the maps are out of date when u receive the unit...but when you go to the magellan...you must pay for the update because it was refurbished...

I got this for my husband for Christmas. He loves to get new gadets. We have not found anything that we did not like about this GPS for the price. Comes with a mounting kit for your automobile and also detaches for you to use outside of your vehicle (i.e. going hiking, biking, etc.) and also clips to your belt.

I have had good luck with this I would have been lost several times with out fuel saver not having to run all over looking for a place
