for my other car! This is absolutely necessary for the person who has to go places but doesn't want to rely on mapquest or google maps...very up to date (it has the modification to my road which was done less than 6 months ago). It's loud enough for me to hear over the radio/DVD player - the wife uses...

This is by far the worst unit to date.Talk about bad could not find local grammer school one block away from my address. Missing a major interstate highway? not road! Called Magellan support all they can say is the new map software will be avaiable the second quarter of this year. Returned back to sears...

I brought this item for a man who has just about everything my husband. I was not sure how he would like it he is kinda of picky and has a great sense of direction.I didn't think he would like it well he installed it in his truck I was surprised when I seen it. I asked him the loaded question how do you like it he stated he like it and proceeded to show me how it worked I knew then it was a good choice so good that i ordered myself one the next day because he was not lending his out.
so far very good value and easier to use than i thought ...go sears...and thanks for treating vets with respect they deserve
This doesn't have the bells and whistles but it will get you where you want to go. I like that with all Magellan's I have used it gives you the name of the road to turn on to as well as the road name you are driving on.
Very simple to use and accurate. If you want a basic GPS that gets you to where you want to go this is a good choice. Easy to set up. Easy to read screen day and night. Volume on speaker is sufficient. Magellan informed me via email that they will have map updates available but could not give me a date.
I bought this as a gift for my husband. It works great. Very quick and easy to use. There are a lot of points of interest such as restaurants ect. Great GPS for the price.
alot easier to use than other gps there are some that are alot smaller. it takes a minute to download but it has all the attachments to connect to your car
