a dream come true

my son had a go kart and he loved it so much but it was really old and some of the parts were wore out, and he was a little bit too big. His birthday came up and he told me the sears that we drove by every day had a go kart on display he told me he really wanted a new go kart for his birthday. So three... read full review »

This Go Kart has been a major Headache. Have not had it even 3 months as of yet. The service man has already worked on twice. The torque converter was defective causing to replace the belt 4 times. The on/off switch broke and the front tires have been replaced and are worn again. It looks like you have... read full review »

Bad Go Cart

I bought this MANCO cart two years ago this past Christmas. It worked fine until the kill switch came off and then the clutch went bad. And last but not least the brakes failed.... The worst part about it was that we could not get anyone to come repair it. I bet in the first 12 months that we had it, my son used it a total of 4 or 5 weeks. One time the repair guy came out and tore it down and left it that way for over a month. I called and did not get any help from Sears.. The local sears owner was so embarrassed by the product, that he refused to sell them any longer. I have a neighbor that got... read full review »

birthday wish, I wished never came true!

Moved to the country, bought my son this go cart for his 12th birthday...has been a nightmare since. The first time the repair man came out the go cart was 1 month old he had to fix the bad torque converter, lights, brakes, on/off switch, and replace one of the back tires and other items, total amount on ticket was almost $400.00...tire was not on the ticket I was responsible for that, shortly after that we had to purchase 2 front tires, I was responsible for that also, brakes still hanging up. Keep in mind my son's go cart just reached 3 month old. If I was to add up the time that the go cart... read full review »

My 10 yr old daughter never asked for anything except an occasional bag of chips. That why it was so hard to watch her struggle all year in her math class. Her teachers changed at least 3-4 times during the year and there were 35 kids in her class. No matter how hard she tried she just could not catch on and her grades were failing. We finally had to pull her aside and explain to her that to be promoted she would have to make a C the last 6 weeks of school or she would have to repeat 5th grade. She stood up and said ,"I will not fail". She went to school and asked her teacher to tutor her after... read full review »

owners beware

The manual states that you must replace the drive belt every 50 hours!. And they were pushing that number. I have to replace it about every 35 hours from day one. the belts are about $28.00 a piece. The go cart is a little weak in the steering linkage. If you bump something with the front expect to straighten the steering knuckles. The motor is good though. the drive system is high maintance. The bearing supports on the axle bent after two rides. The go cart is sized for an adult but I wouldn;t suggest it for an adult. If the motor had about 11hp or more then it woud be a lot better. just under... read full review »

Great little machine

My friend and I saw this in the local sears store and decided to give it a go. It was very easy to put together and the engine was extremely quiet. Lots of power and speed when you open up the throttle. Only downfall is that I wish it had a better turning radius and possibly a little more clearance. Other than that you will throughly enjoy this machine.
