Maxwave - Portable Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Music System Review

Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) that has heard these things has said, "Ive got to get a pair of these!"  In fact, this is the 1st time I ever bought something without seeing it in person or knowing someone that has one etc.  I bought 2 of these online just by reading the reviews. (I know Sears would always let you return 'em if they didn't work)  I bought 2 because I prefer STEREO Sound over MONO.  When 2 of these are going at the same time, the sound is incredible!  One by itself is still good, but you can really fill a huge area with sound if you have 2 going at the same time.  For the life of me, I can't figure out why these things aren't on the Sears website any more.  You won't find a portable, rechargeable speaker system for your iPod (or any other sound source) that kicks out the sound & volume of these things anywhere, PERIOD.  I got them for $49.99 each, & the regular price said $149.99.  Maybe the regular price is a bit high, but even @ $75 each, these things would be a steal. If you see them for sale someplace, grab them because you won't be dissapointed. One other reviewer mentioned this & I agree - not a Con, but if these had some sort of a remote to skip to the next song on the iPod etc, they would be PERFECT.   But still, without the remote, they are awesome.  My daughter wants one for her ipod. Her friends all have the boom box type radio things that you put the ipod in, but she said none of them go as loud ot sound as good as these do. As you know, 13 year olds know everything!  Honestly, I don't have a negative thing to say about these. I just wish they were still on the Sears website.  I live in Massachusetts, and the only store that had then in stock was in Idaho.  The manager of the Sears in Brockton, MA  went above & beyond to find these for me & have then shipped to my house. (took almost 2 weeks - but worth it)  Then, I noticed they aren't on the Sears site anymore.  Too bad.  They have an incredible product that literally everyone sees & wants, and they don't sell them anymore.  Go figure.
