Maytag 2.0 cu. ft. Microhood Combination —
After going through two GE over the range microwaves, I swore off another GE. These things used to last for 10-20 years. Now we get to replace them every 2-3 years. Ridiculous. So I selected this Maytag model, which fit perfectly. It heats well and is easy for kids and adults to operate without needing to take a class or hire a tutor. The fan seems powerful and adequately removes smoke from the stove top. I only wish that it came with two light fixtures for better stove top lighting. There is a cut-out for two, but only one comes with the unit. Jury is still out as to how long it will last. But as long as I get at least 5 years out of it, it would be an improvement over the GE. So far, seems like a good value for the price. Whatever you do, DON'T BUY GE!!!!!!
