I love this dryer. It's super quiet and dryis my clothes very quickly.
I have an 8 year old Maytag dryer in my old home that was great! The clothes came out dry and wrinklefree on a low heat setting. On the Maytag Centennial, the more dry setting doesn't really produce dry clothes that are heavier (i.e. jeans, lined shirts) unless it's on high setting which then damages some clothes. I have to dry the same items twice, turning them inside out to ensure they are dry. I've noticed that the same clothes that came out wrinkle free on my old dryer, don't on the Maytag Centennial.
We had older Neptune front loaders, and due to a recent move, and needing to place the washer and dryer in the garage, I started my research. I found the Centennial models and after doing some research, decided to get them. I figured I'd leave the Neptune's in the garage for a while just in case I didn't like these machines.
Was I surprised?! They not only are energy efficient, but they get our clothes very clean. In fact, the clothes come out of the dryer smelling like they just came from the dry cleaners. I'm very pleased, so when someone called inquiring about the Neptune's, we happily sold...

This is a great dryer. A little more expensive than the electric but better on the bills!
