Medline Elevated Toilet Seat with Arms —

I purchased this elevated seat for my mother who has rheumatoid arthritis and is also going through chemotherapy right now so she has serious mobility issues. This seat has become a godsend for her, and myself as well. Unlike other elevated seats, this one is easily removed for people who are either too large to fit between the rails, or who are too short to sit comfortably. One twist of the locking knob and it loosens up and comes off. Then, one more quick twist and it's locked back on again. This also makes it easy to take along (if you so desire) on holidays, visits to friends, etc. I highly recommend this to anyone w/ mobility issues; chronic pain or balance conditions; or back problems (basically, anyone who has trouble standing from a sitting position without assistance or something to grab onto to rise), and actually have recommended it to several friends who are also caring for their parents & looking for easy handicap accessories for their homes instead of having to remodel or replace their toilets.
