“Defective Melnor Electronic Tmer”

I have two Melnor Electronic Timers. One performed satisfactorily for several months while the other did not. New batteries were tried without success. There's no access to instructions on how to attempt repairs. Overall, I would not recommend this unit. For the price, one would expect a better product.

“Middle o fthe road”

I owned this device and it worked well for 2 years. I do leave things unattended for long periods of time so this worked quite well for the 2 years. In year 3 the unit no longer worked I checked the warranty on the item and found that it was out of warranty but the company would repair the unit for less than the original price... so I sent the unit back for repair and received a repaired unit that worked for another year. This year the unit was not working so now I'm looking for a replacement unit, I'm not sure I want to spent $40 on this brand or try another brand.
