Best that Windows Offers today

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition w/SP2 —

Windows XP is just another PC based operating system from Microsoft. If you keep XP up-to-date, regularly clean out old files and maintain a good anti-virus program and spy-ware program you will not have many problems. While XP does provide the convenience of System Restore to get you up and running again quickly if XP should crash or power is interrupted, System Restore can slow up your system and use significant disk space and resources. System Restore may be a security risk as it may remember privacy information and files deleted even though previously deleted. This is only a general comment and requires further reading and understanding by the user to weigh the benefits and drawbacks to System Restore in Windows XP. Overall and considering that XP is a little older with significant updates now in its history, XP is a far better choice as an operating system than Vista which is just as a baby with many diaper changes and much growing up to do before it will be as reliable.
