gonna have to say i would rather have the newest one instead of this one
I've put a lot of miles on my 360 and it used to be my sole gaming platform. Unfortunately I have had to send it back to Microsoft three times for hard drive failures and overheating problems (despite having aftermarket auxillary cooling fans for 99% of its life). After receiving the system back from repairs for the third time, I kept getting disk read errors. This was a major disappointment and I have since to relegated my 360 to the closet. I used to be a 360 devotee, but it is a shame mine was plagued by failures. Now I solely game on my PS3.
There isn't really much too say then this is the best gaming system available on the market. Great graphics, great games, and quick loading of games. XBOX live is great, but as an adult, you have to put up with a lot of punk play. Live is definatley not for young children!
What more could be said aside from this is the system to own. Sure the PS3 is finally getting the games but the Xbox 360 had them from the beginning. And sure there's the Slim but who cares. The Xbox 360 and Xbox Live make for an amazing experience that any gamer can appreciate. And I can't wait for Kinect and the way motion sensor games should be played. No controls. Just your body as the ultimate controller. The Xbox 360 just went a another level up.
As far as video game consoles go, you can't go wrong with buying an Xbox 360. It has a great video game library to choose from, impeccable online multiplayer and support, and awesome looking graphics.
However, I won't recommend this as much as I will the newer model Xbox 360 with a built in 250 gig hard drive and built in wireless adapter. The new console has a higer memory hard drive, built in wireless support, and is built not to overheat and red-ring. Buy the new one for $50 more. I have always used Xbox and I have had no problems. My family has one and they got the red ring but because of the error code they replaced it for us. Like it.
Mostly everything an elite has, who would use 120 or 250Gb no one would ever use all of it enough for everthing with a cheap price
