Kenmore Elite 2.0 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave with Sensor Cooking Controls
This this is a hunk of junk and I wouldn't be surprised if it was made in China!
The first thing I noticed was the door didn't line up with the body of the machine. Then, the door itself it made very cheaply - it feels like it will break if you shut it too hard. Honestly, it looks and feels like an easy bake oven and I bet those are made better.
Then, I decide to at least try it out before returning it. When I plugged it in - the gosh darn thing turned on! Scared the you-know-what out of me! So, I pushed the stop button...it didn't stop!!! I pushed it over and over and it wouldn't shut...

Kenmore 30 in. Microhood Combination
After only just over a year of use something started to burn, there was some sparks and the microwave no longer heats. Its broken and ofcourse the warranty has expired. I suggest nobody buys this product or any Kenmore products. My cooker has silver panels which are peeling off. All I can say Ive never experienced such garbage in the past.
Maytag 2.0 cu. ft. Microhood Combination
After going through two GE over the range microwaves, I swore off another GE. These things used to last for 10-20 years. Now we get to replace them every 2-3 years. Ridiculous. So I selected this Maytag model, which fit perfectly. It heats well and is easy for kids and adults to operate without needing to take a class or hire a tutor. The fan seems powerful and adequately removes smoke from the stove top. I only wish that it came with two light fixtures for better stove top lighting. There is a cut-out for two, but only one comes with the unit. Jury is still out as to how long...

We were looking for a large capacity model. This model has a 16 inch turntable which accomodates LARGE microwaveable containers. It is so much quieter than our previous unit. We are looking forward to many years of dependable service.
GE Appliances 1.7 cu. ft. Microwave Oven
I purchased and installed this microwave 3 weeks ago. To date, I am less than satisfied with its performance. Three times it has stopped heating. All other functions work, it just will not heat. Unfortunately, it has been an intermittent problem, so trying to diagnose or fix is an issue. Service person is scheduled...I hope they perform better than the microwave. For the record, when it is working properly, it does a nice job. Installation was quick and easy with simple tempates to use for wall mounting plate and under the cabinet hole positions. Great for the do-it-yourself...

Kenmore 30 in. Speed Cook Grill Microhood Combo
WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM SEARS AGAIN!!! We remodeled our kitchen in August 2008 and bought all new stainless steel Kenmore appliances. We had never had an issue wih Sears in the past and have always bought Kenmore and been fully satisfied, but this time not so much. 14 months later, our $400 microwave decided to stop heating and the carousel stopped rotating. We did not purchase an extended warranty for the microwave, but did not feel it was absurd to think that we would get a few years out of ours....we were wrong again! When we called Sears to inform them of the defect we experienced...

Kenmore Microwave - 1100 Watt
Brought back a microwave which was making a weird noise and the light was going out. I got a replacement, without much hassle. thank you Sears
GE Profile 1.3 cu. ft. Microhood Combo
I purchased the Kenmore Elite model (Advantium 2.0) in November 2005. Sears installed it. The interior light went out within 12 months. The microwave itself stopped working last week (used for 4 years mostly to heat frozen dinners). Used convection portion couple of times a year. Was heating something using convection setting when the unit just stopped working. Have Sears repair coming out tomorrow ($129 plus parts to fix). I had the GE model in another home and liked it better, but it was only 2 years old when I moved. For the price, this was a disappointing product.
Kenmore 1.2 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave
I have read the bad reviews-as with all microwaves, I guess they are just not made the same because almost every microwave has the same type of complaints. I love this microwave, from the beeps to the way it heats and the options. I have never softened butter so easily! Sounds simple, but my last microwave purchased in 2005, didn't do it.
GE Profile 2.0 cu. ft. Microhood Combination
We bought a GE PROfILE SPACESAVER microwave 3 years ago when we remodeled our kitchen, along with two other appliances. The refrig started giving us trouble after 2 1/2 years, the microwave quit after 3 years !!!!! WE WILL NEVER BUY A GE APPLIANCE AGAIN. We have learned an expensive lesson, THESE APPLIANCE WERE NEVER MADE TO LAST>
Samsung 1.8 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave
I did my research and bought this microwave because it was recommended in ****************. The next closest product in their ratings was $200 more. I'm a bit disapointed by the looks as it's a bit "boxey" looking. However, for under $200 I can live with it.
