LockedHow to expedite delivery?

posted on February 02, 2010 at 01:05PM Inappropriate?

Hey all, so I ordered my KitchenAid 36" micro-hood (KHMS2056SBL) on Dec 7, 2009.  Expected delivery date was SIX WEEKS(!) later.  JEEZ!  So turns out that the microwave that was delivered was some completely different one, even though the outer packaging had our model number on it.  So I called Sears dozens of times to complain, went to the local store, and tried everything that I could think of to get my microwave, but every time, the person tells me that they can set up a new delivery ... for a month later!!

This is unacceptable!!  How can I find someone to talk to that can expedite my order for me??  When I've asked the phone rep, they said that the date they gave me is the date the computer gives them as the earliest is basically The Word of God to them - there's no question about it, and nothing they can do (or even try) to change that.  Despite the fact that my order was screwed up, they won't do anything to try to make it right!?

I'd greatly appreciate any input on what my next course of action should be!

I'm sorry to hear about this and would like to put you in touch with our SearsCares team to see if there's something they can do to assist. Can you please send me your name, email address and phone number (via a private comment) and include the title of this discussion thread? I'll relay the information to them and ask them to follow up with you directly. Thanks!
