LockedStainless microwave/hood on sale

I am afraid I don't have enough space between where the hood and microwave would go and the stove.  What are the actual dimensions from top of hood to bottom of microwave?  Thank you.  K

Hi...we are just getting ready to REPLACE all of our Kitchen-aid appliances.  VERY VERY disappointed with them..I would not recommend buying Kitchen-aid.  we had problems with the Refrigerator, stove and microwave.  The only item that was trouble free was the dishwasher.  Paint near the ice/water dispenser on the door has rusted as well as near the handle.  Paint on the cook top edge also rusted and came off.  Sensors went after 2 years and again recently on the microwave and stove top.  There are much better brands in my opinion.

I hope I'm not to late to warn you! DON'T GET KITCHENAID!!  I remodeled my kitchen 4-1/2 years ago and all appliances were KitchenAid. Beautiful to look at.  I just replaced the range because the oven wouldn't turn off and ended up burning itself out.  I got a GE Profile.  The microwave works perfectly, but because the outside is all plastic - even the "stainless steel" - it is warped, cracked, and I've had to replace the handle twice at $60 a shot.  For a PLASTIC handle that's supposed to be used over a stove!  I've had to call for repairs for the dual-drawer dishwasher at least three to four times a year each and every year.  The refrigerator has worked okay except for having to replace the icemaker.

The old appliances in this house worked okay when I remodeled, and I thought I'd get good service with top-of-line KitchenAid appliances.  I've never been so disappointed with goods in my life as I have with this group of appliances.  Althought I can't really afford it, I will also be replacing the microwave and the dishwasher with ANYTHING else other than KitchenAid.  I just can't believe anything else could be worse.
