I have the 19.2 V craftsman EX drill, circular, sawzall combo that I bought in 2002 and the charger went dead. I have been doing A/C work my whole life and wanted a lighter drill that still had the power. I did some research and settled on this baby. It is worth the money and has what I need for all my jobs. I use it to cut holes in heavy gage metal with my hole attachment that hooks to my drill and this drill does not bog down at all. Owned a Craftsman Professional 13.2v for about 9 years and finally lost one battery to failure, and feared the other was close. Purchased the Milwaukee 18v Li-Ion drill/driver and noticed first its weight and balance compared to my Craftsman drill. The Milwaukee feels better and after long use doesn't seem to fatigue me as much. There are days that I can use this drill for about 12 hours one battery after another. read full review »Wonderful drill. Extremely light and durable. Very short battery charge time and long use time. Very good reliable drill set! Wonderful return policy as well.
The drill is very top heavy and there is very little material in between the motor and the handle. My drill fell from a few feet and broke in half. This would be a good drill for a homeowner doing a couple jobs around the house. Do not buy for everyday use.
