This is way too expensive. A comparable, nearly identical device, can be had currently at Best Buy for $229.99. And that is the one with XP Home Edition.
The processor is the Atom N270. 160 GB hard drive. Webcam, microphone. USB ports. Standard 3 cell battery. Nine inch screen.
After weeks of research & readings lots of reviews of all different notebooks & I even went to Sears to see the Mirus & of course they did not carry computers in the store, I finally broke down and ordered it. I read thru the directions & then turned it on & to my surprise the software was not installed or something was broken. It asked for the boot up disk which also did not come with computer. I called the tech. number & was told I had to send it back for the software to be installed. I also told them to send a reboot disk just incase this happens again. I received one of the mirus netbooks as a gift earlier this month, from Sears.com. It arrived much earlier than expected. This machine is wonderful, and actually has a 160gb hard drive, not a 120! Nice bonus. The machine is quick to setup, easy to use, and has been rock solid. It's a great price point as well, similar netbooks, with similar specs, are usually more expensive, and often don't include XP. This machine also offers good warranty, and the company is based out of California, so you get knowledgeable people (On this side of the globe) when you have a tech question.
