Ihave had no service with Sears. I ordered several shears and curtains for my home. I received all except a pair of sheers. I called Sears because the web site states it was shipped and I never received. They investigate, never contacted me. I called UPS, UPS said they never received order to call shipper. I called shipper once again SEARS, AND THEY HAVE SAID IN REPEATED EMAILSTHAT THEY ARE INVESTIGATING, THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND THE PRODUCT I ORDERED; I want resolution now and have found no recourse.
In December, we purchased a very nice Bulova watch and pendant set from the Sears store in Dubuque. The salesperson at the jewelry counter removed some links from the watch to fit. After wearing the watch for about a month, the watch fell apart at the links. We returned it to the counter at Sears where another employee attmepted to help us, but quickly referred us to a manager. In hindsight, we really wished we had gotten the manager's name as she was one of the rudest, most condescending customer service people we have ever encountered. The overall service at sears in just not there. In general, each department has no one in them. The people at the check out stand are not helpful with anything but letting you pay for your items. Where are the staff who help you with the products and steer you in the right direction for your needs, NO WHERE! Sears would prosper if the service was like years past and matched the quality of their products.
Please train the staff to pay attention to the customers represent Sears as proud and knowledgable empoyees rather than put-out and ignorant hired drones.

I was at the Norman, Oklahoma Sears store and I was terribly disappointed with the customer service. I was looking for a watch battery in the electronics section and when I could not find it I approached the four Sears employees that were just talking not paying attention to anyone else in the store. When I asked them for help, they one of the employees just gave me a complicated set of directions of how to get there instead of taking me there himself. I ended up looking in several different areas before being able to find them.
Kmart had a product I didn't know was out there..Vicks syrup..this is a great product I have already told my friends how good this product is..I will alwas keep this item stocked in my home..Thank you Kmart..Eunice Ottmar of Show Low Arizona
Yesterday, February 4, 2012, I brought a Kenmore Progressive vacuum cleaner to my local Sears, 4730 W. Irving Park, Chicago, for repair. While I generally buy Kenmore products, this particular vacuum cleaner has proved disappointing. At any rate I knew the flat rate for repair would be $79.99. I asked the gentleman at the dock about the guarantee on the repair, and wondered if I should just cut my losses and just buy a new vacuum? Everytime I go into Sears essentials at least one rep. comes by to ask if I need help with anything. That doesnt happen very often when I go anywhere.
