Okay, the answers below are from me (Gigi):

 1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?    If the package is squared I will wrap; if awkward shape or size I will use a gift bag

  2. Real tree or Artificial?   2 artificial trees--one white and one green

 3. When do you put up the tree?   The week of Thanksgiving but before Thanksgiving day

4. When do you take the tree down? I used to take it down AFTER New Year's but I heard it was bad luck to keep a tree up twice in one year so now I try to take it down right after Christmas.

5. Do you like eggnog?   I can't stand egg nog (frog nog) and if I drink it I will puke ;~{

6. Favorite gift received as a child?    Doll babies and a record player

7. Hardest person to buy for?    Growing up it was my mother, now it is guys in general

8. Easiest person to buy for?   My sister Sharon--I know her so well that it's easy to shop for her 

9. Do you have a nativity scene?   I used to collect them but now they have remained in storage for years.  I do have one that I display on the entertainment center.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?   Snail mail of course and I start addressing them at Thanksgiving and mail them out weekly (farthest away to closest to me)

11.Worst Christmas gift you ever received?  I don't like sweets so if anyone gave me a box of candy I would just give it away

 12. Favorite Christmas Movie (not cartoon)?   The Christmas Shoes

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?    I try to start in September or October

 14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?   Yes, when I taught 4-year-olds.  Sometimes the parents would give me very extravagant gifts that at my age I didn't really need so I would give them to family and friends.  Shoot, that was $50-100 I didn't have to spend ;+) 

  15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?    Moms Mac & Cheese (I love my Aunt Dawn's m&C too!)  I like the casseroles (green bean, broccoli/cheese, sweet potato souffle'--that sort of stuff)

 16. Lights on the tree (colored or clear)?  White tree has clear lights and green tree has colored lights.  The clear lights don't blink but the colored ones do.

17. Favorite Christmas song?  O Holy Night

18.Travel at Christmas or stay home?   I celebrate Christmas with family a week before and I go to my best friend's house on Christmas day

 19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?  I think this is a trick question.  I can NAME all the reindeer.  However, I won't LIST them. 

20. Angel, star or ribbon on top of tree? Angel on the white tree and star on the green tree

23. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?  Putting the decorations up and taking them down--it's so time consuming.

24. Favorite ornament theme or color?   White tree is silver and blue (snowmen and snowflakes); green tree is traditional ornaments

 25. Turkey or ham on Christmas day?  Whatever the people hosting gatherings serve but I don't eat turkey :~{  

26. What do you want for Christmas this year?   Not really sure--I would love to have a baby

27.  Does anyone in your family dress up as Santa?  No but a lot of us will wear the elf hats and reindeer antlers

29.  Eggnog, hot chocolate, or apple cider? I don't like egg nog or apple cider and I drink hot cocoa like some drink coffee

30.  Traditional colors (red and green) or other colors? I do both because I have two trees but the decorations throughout my house are silver and blue with the snowmen and snowflakes.  Traditional colors are only in my large guest room.

31. Do you have any Christmas decorations on your roof? No--I live in the woods and something on my house would attract attention and people might realize my home is back there

 32.  How does Santa get into your house?  Chimney or magic key?  Growing up he used a magic key.  Now, we just open the door and let the guests in ;+)

33.  Do you prefer gifts or gift cards? I'm okay with either as long as the gift cards are to stores that I like

34.  Favorite children's Christmas cartoon?  Any of the Frosty shows, Jackfrost, and Lester the Long-Eared Donkey

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?  My mom's dressing, green bean casserole, and pistachio salad. Desserts ~ Pecan Pie, Chocolate Delight Pie, and Coffee Cake!

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?  I travel, but it is not very far just a couple of miles away. I live in the same town as my parents.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?  When I was a child, we opened our presents on Christmas Eve from the family. Then we opened our gifts from Santa on Christmas Morning.

23. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?  Planning food menu and decorating the house.

24. Favorite ornament theme or color?  I have a collection of snowmen.

25. Turkey or ham on Christmas day?  My mom has Turkey, but I am not a meat eater.   

26. What do you want for Christmas this year?  Just to be with my family and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. 

27. Does anyone in your family dress up as Santa?  No! Some of us will wear a Santa hat.

28. Age you discovered who Santa was?  I think I was seven!

30. Traditional colors (red and green) or other colors?  Most of my decorations are red and green. My snowmen are white and light blue.

32. How does Santa get into your house? Chimney or magic key?  When I was child, we never had a chimney so Santa used a magic key. Now, I have chimney that Santa can use.

33. Do you prefer gifts or gift cards?  I like both gifts and gift cards. As long as the gift cards are from a store I like.

34. Favorite children's Christmas cartoon?  Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, and Jack Frost!
