LockedSwine Flu

As I sit here, home sick from work because of the Swine Flu scare, I was wondering what measures Sears is taking with their employees to prevent the spread of Swine Flu.

How this came under the "Websites" category, I cannot tell you.  Can I blame it on cough medicine?

Well, we never have any sort of group interaction with another.

And, try not to talk with one another; being defined by some Customers as RUDE.

And, only a few of us handle any merchandise.

Maybe Clorox Clean the keyboards?

Sears recently branded it "Walmart Flu".  And branded ordinary rubbing alcohol, "Kenmorohol".  That's how it works, right?

91% isopropyl alcohol, and Q-tips for the register, mouse, and keyboard.

With the recent weekly hour cuts, it feels like there are only three of us sometimes...

We have extremely large pump bottles of Handsantizer at every corner in the call center, alcohol wipes at every single desk,  I even have a bottle of handsantizer on my desk, as well as a stack of papertowels to clean my desk with every other day.

No immunizations are available in my area.

But, the employees are using hand sanitizer at the cash reps.

We don't got no Q-tips or alcohol to clean the keys with...

I hate the media over-hype of the whole situation

Facts. Swine flu has killed less people percentage wise than the normal flu.

Yes it is VERY contagious and everyone is getting it at once causing a giant scare.

The #1 way of spreading the virus is through touching surfaces with the virus and then putting it into your orifices. WASH YOUR HANDS

Flu vaccines should ONLY be used in very AT rISK Cases such as elderly, young children etc. The reason for this is that the more we use vaccines and medicenes the higher than chance the virus will mutate and we'll have a MUCH worse virus.

The majority of people with serious complications (in mexico) has been when the bird flu and swine flu co-interact.

And, keep those "three" people at different corners of the store, maybe with one of um stuck back in the warehouse.

How'd you get THREE people working all at the same time!

This Flu thing is shredding the duty schedule.

At end of shift today, no one had showed UP!

I hope someone was scheduled...

Relax.

There was one (very stressed looking) Cashier still on duty.

Carpentry is over there.

Sockets are there.

Wrenches are over yonder.

The GDO remotes are behind this display.

And, don't forget to check the "rebuilt" ratchets drawers, when doing exchanges.

How "fast" can you do warehouse stock checks?

Gotta go.
