We love this movie! I was worried that it might scare my 3 year old, but she loves it. There's a bonus feature called "Mike's New Car" that she laughed at hysterically the first time we watched it. I totally recommend this movie for all ages, as my husband and I find it really funny too. It has a couple of tense parts, but they're resolved with humor. I don't recall any bad language or anything else really objectionable. You might want to have a conversation about monsters not being real before or after watching if you have young children.
I love, love, love this movie! I watch it with my little cousins, then I watch it with my husband. It never gets old! The characters are adorable and I love the friendship they have. Great overall movie!

This is one of the best animated movies I have ever seen. I first bought it for my oldest grandson. We watched it over and over. When the other two grandsons came along we had the chance to share it with them too. I sometimes watch it by myself when I need a funny and comforting movie. The characters are great. They make you feel like you can overcome all kinds of bad things. This is the kind of movie that gives you the warm fuzzies. Monsters are not always the bad guys they are made out to be.
Monsters Inc. is a rare combination of cleverly funny writing that also contains a very strong emotional element. While the madcap zaniness of the monsters takes place, including rivalries and the desire to "race to the top" of the corporate ladder, the movie explores how emotional bonds are forged, even in the face of seemingly extreme adversity.
Pixar always delivers top-quality work, and their films can be watched many times over without any loss of interest. I've recommended Monsters Inc. for years because it's such an enjoyable and watchable film.

Monsters' Inc is one of those movies that is great for both children and adults. The humor in the movie allows adults to stay entertained, while the characters and the plot keep children's attention. The movie is wholesome entertainment for the whole family.
Monsters Inc is easily one of my son's favorite movies. It is Pixar/Disney at their finest. The video quality and sound quality are both excellent in this movie. The lead voice actors John Goodman (Sully) and Mike (Billy Crystal) are perfect in their roles. We have to have seen this movie a dozen times over. I highly recommend it to anyone with a child or anyone who just enjoys movies period. It should be in everyone's collection!
The plot is simple like all G rated movies. The giant, blue-furred James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (wonderfully voiced by John Goodman) is a scare-monster extraordinaire in the hidden world of Monstropolis, where the scaring of kids is an imperative in order to keep the entire city running. Beyond the competition to be the best at the business, Sullivan and his assistant, the one-eyed Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) is a jokester.

I love watching this movie because it is so funny. If you like animated movie and you are looking to laugh a lot I recommend that you buy this movie. You won't be mad that you did.
