THIS IS PERFECT!!!

I agree on the last review on EVERYTHING he said. I have always had MR. COFFEE'S and always will. My old one was 19 years old. Another reson I love mine is that when I make ice tea in it, I can open the top, put in 3 TEA BAGS and watch the water fill the basket of tea bags to fill and steep in good hot... read full review »

Mr. Coffee Model DRX23

I am very disappointed in this model DRX23. I purchased Model UNX23 over five years ago and its design worked beautifully. The coffee pot was designed so that the water wouldn't run all over everything while trying to fill the reservoir. The basket was easy to empty and the pause and pour worked without... read full review »

Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker Reviews

Displaying all 10 reviews

I've had a coffeemaker before, but it wasn't programmable and it hampered me a bit in the morning before work. After my purchase, and programing, I was glad to find that it didn't hamper my mornings at all. Haven't had any problems with it these three months, and I think even my coffee tastes better, too.

We have been loyal Mr. Coffee buyer for years but I am really disappointed in this one.  It brews fine but the construction seems much cheaper than in models past.  Both the body and decanter are thinner plastic and glass.  It feels chintzy.  One of the reasons I like Mr. Coffee is that, compared to many others such as our past Braun coffee makers, they had better pour spout design and dripped less when filling the reservoir.  Not this one... it leaks all over when filling AND when pouring coffee.  The design allows the buttons to easily be bumped, which can change the time and thus messes...

This is a good coffee maker. My last coffee pot was one that dispensed the coffee into the cup. I had forgotten what makes Mr. Coffee a "drip" coffee maker . . . there is no way to pour a cup of coffee without having drips and spillage. This is my only complaint. It makes a good cup of coffee and the delay setting is very nice because you can wake up to a fresh brewed cup of coffee. It is easy to program both for time and for delay brew.

okay, not great

I won't be returning this coffee maker. It does a decent job. BUT I'm not crazy about the display that does not light up. The plastic is pretty cheap. The coffee is fine - just about any coffee maker can make decent coffee. But it's not as hot as some other coffee makers. Good enough, got it for a low price, but if and when I break the carafe, I doubt that I would replace it. Probably just replace the whole coffee maker.

Great Coffee!

This appliance makes great coffee and I like the taste with the filter.  I would reccomend it.

Poor Quality

Worst coffee maker we've owned. The filter drips onto the heating element and when pouring from the pot, it constantly drips on the counter...very frustrating. Don't buy this unit or be prepared to wipe up after every cup.

I searched for a coffe pot under the $50.00 price range for a long time. After reading the reviews one this one and the fact it had a good purchase price, I bought it about a month ago. I t makes a great pot of coffee in a short amount of time. The clock and features are easy to read and use. The coffee stays hot for a long time. I am very happy with my purchase. Their are no guarantees in life, but this one is a good bet for the money.

Great, all-around coffee maker!

This unit packs a lot of quality for the money. It boasts a streamlined, attractive design; it's easy to program; and it brews a delicious pot of joe in a reasonable amount of time. The display panel is easy to read and operate, and the 2-hour automatic shut-off feature is (thus far) accurate to within a few minutes. Unlike my previous coffee maker, the "on" display light on this unit is yellow-green; so if you're long-conditioned (as I was) to associating a RED light with "on" or "hot," you may need a day or two to get used to the new color. Be aware that, although the water reservoir easily accepts... read full review »
