It's quiet, programmable, and the pot doesn't spill water while pouring. It keeps the coffee hot without burning and it's fast. I have never had a problem with it so far and have gone through 2 other brands before getting this one. I iwll be looking forward to using this for many years to come.
...

My husband drinks coffee daily. He is always setting the brew time and we have never had a problem. The stainless steel pot really keeps things warm inside. The only downside is when he pours a bit of coffee ends up on the countertop and not in his cup. Perhaps the spout could have a better design. All in all it's good.
...

I bought this pot like 7 or 8 years ago from sears...it just started not completing the brew cycle and I have to push the button a few times. I have to say I have bought a couple different pots to try and replace it and they could not compete...my coffee doesn't taste as good from any other pot than this one. In desparety I went online in search of the same pot...could not find it in any stores here. I am ordering another one right now and hoping it will last another 7 or 8 yrs...I brew coffee 2 or 3 times a day every single day...so this pot definitely is worth the money and has gave me probably tens of thousands of pots of deliscious coffee. This is the best coffee pot I have ever owned <3...

This is not the best coffee pot I have ever had but it is also not too bad. I like that it is programmable and that it is a thermal pot which for me means it can not be broken as easily as a glass pot. I also like that it does not have a warmer so that is one less thing I have to remember to turn off when I am done with it. I think the durability and lack of warmer makes it good for dorms and for coffee at work. I am not as crazy about how my coffee tastes coming out of this coffee maker and I don't like that the coffee never really seems hot enough. Over all not a bad product.
...

We drink one pot in the morning. This leaky Chinese made poor excuse for a 40 dollar coffee maker ******* out after 4 months. The programer is useless unless you like luke warm coffee. The lid aggravates my tendonitis. I could kick myself for ever buying this thing. It just stops halfway thru the brewing cycle and has to be restarted 3 or 4 times to make a pot. I took it apart and the plastic check valve sticks and will not allow water to flow into the heating element any longer. Its not dirty it just does'nt work. Poorly designed and made with inferior parts.
...

Do not invest in this coffee maker. For lack of better words, this coffee pot is a piece of ****. To start, the cap is such a pain to take off and on (twist cap) and it leaks bad from the top of the metal and bottom while pouring, making a mess on the counters always. The coffee stays at a mediocre temp (we love our coffee hot) and we're always complaining and cursing at it--not a good way to start the morning. LOL.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. To boot, this was a little more on the pricey side. We thought we invested on a good appliance, yet we're kicking ourselfs for spending more than 5 bucks in this worthless junk.
...

We bought the 8 cup Thermal Programmable Coffeemaker hoping for a durable, dependable product. After using it for a relatively short amount of time, this product ended up in the trash. It leaked horribly - and not just during brewing. It leaked when trying to pour coffee. From the bottom of the pot. We tossed it in frustration and will read up on reviews before buying our next coffee maker.
...

I bought this coffee maker for 2 reasons, 1) The thermal caraffe and 2) For the programable feature. It brews great, the problem is, this unit shuts off as soon as the brew cycle is over and doesn't heat the coffee. What is the point of having a timed brew only to be cold or luke warm in the mornings?? Also, to have to add hot water to the carafee for 5 mins prior to brewing soooo your coffee will be hot...kinda takes the art of having a timed brew ready for when you wake up in the mornings. It's going back and we will purchase the normal glass style caraffe. At least we'll have "Hot" coffee when ready....

This is a great coffeemaker and I am "very" particular about my coffee. I am puzzled by some of the reviews on here and I did read them before my purchase.

The lid is particular and has to go on exactly right to prevent spillovers but it is very easy to figure out that the arrow on the lid needs to be mounted at the 9 o'clock position and turned to the right back to the 6 o'clock position where it aligns correctly.

The stainless carafe "Does Not" taste like metal!! I prewarm the carafe with hot water and use a separate pitcher to put in filtered cool water for the coffee. Of course, this is not an option for someone that sets up their coffeemaker the night before. (Something I would never do, by the way, because I want my coffee as fresh as possible!!) The prewarmed carafe keeps the coffee hot for several hours...as long as it takes me to drink it!!

I would recommend this coffeemaker to anyone. It rivals the Cuisinart that it replaced!!...

Like others have said, if the carafe is not seated exactly right, the pot will leak. If the filter slips a little, the pot will leak. The carafe keeps the coofee warm, but without a bottom warmer, the coffee never gets real hot. We're getting rid of this. Not Worth It.......

I bought this coffee pot for my parents. I set it up for them that night. My mother calls me the next morning.....coffee is going all over her cabinet from the filter chamber. When I got over there to look at it, you have to have the pot under the spout exactly right, to a T, or it will not go in the pot and will spill all over the counter. I am taking it back today. I do love the size and looks of it though....
