Overall this blaster is about the same in range and rate of fire as many other nerf guns. what makes it so special is that it is modular, and can in essence be taken down to a pistol. A clip fed pistol sized gun makes a great sidearm and is very maneuverable going around corners or in tight areas. this is a great gun except the barrel can hinder accuracy and range.
This is nerf's best gun yet! With many gadets and parts, this gun will give you the best accuracy you can get with nerf no matter which style you shoot with. If you add all the extentions (which is how I shoot) the recon CS-6 is better than the nerf longshot at sniping. If you take all the extentions off and use it as a pistol it is very powerful and great for ambushing. Either way you put the recon it will be extremely helpful and accurate.
Nerf Recon blaster is an excellent choise for an 8-year-old boy who loves adventure and science fiction movies
I bought this as a birthday present for my son and he just loves it, It comes with multiple pieces to adjust the gun however you like, although the arm length was a bit much for him when It was all put together, but thankfully we could take the shoulder piece off and it worked great, He really enjoys it and the price was great.
My kids have enjoyed playing with this gift they got on Christmas morning.
The Nerf CS-6 rocks. It comes with cool clips to load the nerf gun and shoot away and red light to aim for your target with accuracy . My three sons love it ! I love this nerf toy because of the color which is orange and yellow mostly as a parent I dont like the gun toys to look too realistic like a real gun but these are fun for sport. They run smoothly and you can plan a family fun activity outside! extra play bullets can be purchased at your nearest Kmart.
