I recently shopped at Sears for a gift for an expectant friend. I wanted to get her a pretty dressy dress for her new little girl due in April & was totally put off by the prices! Sears had them for $36!!! These were sizes 0-3mos. & up! I had to check to make sure I wasn't in Nordstroms! I did find a nice layette set on the clearance rack that came in at 9.99 & a cute blanket & box of cute socks. I was told by an employee to go to the Children's Place for dresses; that's just sad that even the employees can't afford the nicer outfits for their children. What's happening to Sears? It used to be the 'reasonably' priced store. Am I just shopping at the wrong time?
