This is so easy to use even I can use it! Very self explanatory and easy to use, right out of the box I had no trouble with it. And for someone with no sense of direction, it's a definite requirement. I will never live without it again. Seriously, this is a great gift idea for anyone on your list, male...

The Nextar x4-t worked well right out of the box. I was actually enjoying the turn by turn instructions as well as the announcement of the street names.
I then started adding favorite locations onto the unit. It then repeatedly asked to set the start location and would not stop... it just went berzerk...

for those of you who are looking for a great gps system, this system, its great. not only is it voice activated, is a little bigger for those of you who cannot see well, and is ready to use, just plug to your car cigarette lighter and turn on. Also able to see photos and hear your own music from your own memory card.
Mine worked one month, and then the screen went out while on a trip. TERRIFIC
I thought this product was very good. We recently used it on a trip from NC. to CT. and it was very accurate and extremely helpful. Especially when there are so many new roads being built and cut offs, it just seemed to know them and boy was it great. I loved it because I was the one driving this time not my husband who usualy does the driving up there. It has great color, bright and vivid, and the voice is clear and easy to hear.
All in all a terrific product and I would recommend it to my friends and family, or anyone who has to travel a great deal.
Awesome product! Large screen for quick and easy display is a must. Hands-free is also a plus for ease at driving.

I bought this navigator because I am moving to a new city. The thing I like the most about it is that it will tell you which way to turn by voice- so you have no distractions. Great product!
I purchased this GPS before taking a trip. I love that fact that when my husband would make a wrong turn it would recalculate our route. I like that fact that you can do major roads or shortest distance. This has been a wonderful GPS so far. I purchased a Garmin at first but I didn't have half the acc. as the nextar and plus this one has the the text to speech with the street names and exits all for the same price as the Garmin.
