“Excellent Camera - Very Happy - Would Buy Again”

I am not a camera expert, but I love this thing and think its a great camera. It takes great photos and I think The more I learn how to use it they will even get better. It doesnt come with a memory card but I think that is standard - just a heads up so you dont have to wait to start shooting. I dont feel like the manual is as bad as everyone says, but the Nikon Field Guide book by Busch is an awesome companion. I struggled between buying this and the D60 - not having used that I think this is good enough, if not perfect for someone like me taking pictures of a new baby, running dogs, mountain... read full review »

If you want great pics buy this camera!! I love mine. The 200mm lense is a must have. Long battery life and an all around great camera.

“Great Little Camera”

I have really enjoyed this camera. Great price for a starter DSLR. I have recommened this to a few friends as a nice way to venture into digital. A little noise on the pictures, but nice colors and clarity. Nikon has really done a good job of making a camera easy to use and still turn out good quality pictures for the beginner photographer. This is one camera that I will keep in my collection for a long time to come.

“Excellent starter DSLR.”

As an aspiring photographer, this camera does the trick as a good starter. The pictures can be a little noisy, but the color and quality is great. Easy to use and so much nicer than a point-and-shoot.
