This system is one of the best out there. The library of games is massive and has a ton of good stuff. The shape system itself is great as well. Holding in your hands for a few hours isn't unconformable.
The only downside is the actual hardiness of it. I've run into a problem with the right hinge breaking off on me and I had never dropped or otherwise misused the product. Also, the stylus is somewhat small and even with the slot on the back of the system, might get lost easily.
I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a handheld system to buy.
So far, in my opinion, Nintendo has hit the right note again. Family friendly and versatile handheld game. It a tough little cookie too, so no worries if you have small ones who throw things when they're angry. There are some great games that you can purchase to pair up with this ranging from fun and adventurous to challenging and educational. Heard they're coming out with a new one that will be as fast as the Wii!!

DS is great for all ages.
Finally nintendo has came out with a system that is in the running with some of the other handhelds out there! for the longest time you had to sit right under a lamp to see the screen or spend more money on accesories to attach to the ds to brighten the screen. The amount of games they have been putting out has also really improved and they have been aiming at not just the youth but adults also, I have actually purchased my own DS so my kids will let me have some playing time.
All in all the Nintendo DS Lite is a fun handheld game system that I have lost hours of my life to and will probably continue...
read full review »Two in my family and each has been sent to Nintendo for repair twice. Not sure what Nintendo is thinking. The cost to continue repairing them and extended the warranty could'nt outweight the cost to just make a better product.
