why no layaway online for this item?

All the good items are not available online for layaway. I am a divorced mother of 3 and layaway is the only option I have during the holidays to buy what my kids want. Walmart did away with their layaway and now all I have is Sears and Kmart to rely on and they don't offer it online, whats up with that?

I wonder if the reason the Wii has not been offered for the layaway program has anything to do with the fact that they have been difficult to keep in stock, at least online?

Another possibility may be because they are on sale right now-$50 off of the original price.
