Nintendo Wii Console —
The Wii is an excellent family console, and it is reasonably priced. The wireless remote control unit is relatively easy to use (just be sure to use the wrist strap, or you'll need a new TV!). My entire family enjoys it, from the young kids to the grandparents. Although there aren't a ton of games for it yet, there are a wide variety. The sports games are unique, in that they allow the gamer to actually go through the motions of the game (we especially love the bowling). It's fun to create different characters to play as, and it's nice that you can play your GameCube games on it. I would highly recommend this system, and I would also recommend that you buy the extra game that comes with an additional remote. This isn't a game with a lot of rated M games; most are family friendly - just as our family likes it!Nintendo Wii Console
