Although the Wii may not pack all the punch of the Xbox 360 - this lil system offers a LOT for a small amount of money. If you are looking for something versatile, cost effective and yet has many options - the Wii might be for you. For $250, you get the basic system, including Wii Sports - very simple and basic game - but I bet it gets you up out of your chair! My PICKY son was up and boxing for hours!..The Wii gets you in the game - and accessories that are availible make it all that more realistic. I dont think a Wii would be the choice of a hard core gamer - but definately think that for the...review »
My son, age 25 and I were at his friends house when we played the game for the first time. We had so much fun that we were not even aware that hours had slipped away. I wanted to surprise my son and also my daughter for Christmas by buying them one each, but I've been unable to find one in stock at the price it should be. I'm on the list to be notified when more come in and I can hardly wait. This is the best game by far ever, and with two childred, eleven years apart believe me, I had them all. Good for all ages.
I am 19 years old and I love my Nintendo Wii. You always hear the companies say that their console will "bring the family together" but most of the time it just locks your child away in his room. Well, I actually had my family crammed into my very small room playing a friendly game of bowling. I would recommend this system for all ages, everyone can enjoy it. Don't worry about the wriststrap issue, I have never had it come of my wrist and I never got the replacement strap.
This, is one of the best gaming system that there is at this time. My, son plays this almost 12 hours out of 24, only time he do not play is when is at high school (he is sr this yr.), when he go to college when he get out of high school at noon and when he is sleeping. The wii is very durable, had no problems with it, he just luvs connecting thru our hi-fi, playing with his friends.
This is SUCH a great product and a wonderful birthday or Christmas present. This changes the gaming world. When my kids get home from school they finish there homework so fast just to play the Wii.So if you know someone who wants the Wii you should get it for them because that would be a gift they wouldn't forget! So to rap things up you should get the Wii!
The Wii system is just awesome...can't say enough great things about it! We play every night as a family- it's just as much fun for the adults, if not funner! It's like you are actually bowling, playing baseball, tennis, golf, etc. It gets you up and moving! Great exercise and GREAT, great fun! Worth every penny & then some! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to ALL!
All I have to say is "Its about time" my kids play this and they Move, Move, Move... Yes, I even play. The Wii is better then any system if you don't want your kids sitting there just moving there fingers! My son plays and he is up moving around and burning a few. Thank you Nintendo!!!!
i got a wii the day it came out and i was amazed... no not amazed, ummm... idk wat is greater then amazed... some word.
I got it with high hopes that were not only met but passed by a long shot. the nintendo wii is the best game station by far that has been released by any company.
My little girl Is not in to playing out side. She needed exersice.
I bought her the wii, and now she is very active and likes to play on it and out side. most if not all the games require you to physically do it. It is just great and a fun family game system to play.
This is a great system (expecialy for the less active) they were really thinkin when they made this one. Of course its a video game but it feels more like an exercise class at a professional level. Its gettin my family in shape!!! ha,ha
I think the wii is the best gaming system for my family. I have a 13 and 3 yr old who both love to play it. I would be telling a lie if I told you I don't have fun playing it myself. Many kid friendly games, and even a little exercise.
I highly recommend the wii system for both adults and children. It is by far the best gaming system out on the market. The games are awesome and not only is it fun for the entire family, but its a great way to get a great workout.
The Wii is the best video game console in the universe! Everyone can enjoy the fun of the Wii, even your grandpa! Also the Wii is very small and easy to carry around with you where ever you go. EVERYONE IS IN NEED OF A WII!
This is an incredible family game - would highly recommend to anyone who is able to get this for the holidays! Great value for money - huge selection of games to play - great family entertainment!
This is so awesome! Not only is it a lot of fun, but it is good for your body and mind as well. There are many games which require intellectual thought and exercise. Great for the whole family.
Featuring a remarkable wireless controller experience, the Nintendo Wii console invites players into game worlds and activities like never before. Whether theyre young or old, expert gamers or beginners, Wii players will express themselves with intuitive motion control using the Wii Remote: a flick of the wrist to swing a baseball bat or tennis racket, a backswing and follow-through to send a golf ball flying over a pristine fairway. Wii Sports, packaged with the Wii console, introduces players to those and many other experiences. Wii also taps into Nintendos unrivaled legacy of great games with the Virtual Console. Connecting via wireless broadband to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Wii owners will be able to spend Virtual Console points to download selected classic games from NES, Super NES and N64 video game consoles. And through WiiConnect24, owners will be able to access even more content. Four-player compatibility as well as the ability to compete with other Wii players over broadband internet means that Wii offers a true social experience. The sleek Wii console, no larger than a stack of several DVD cases, includes Wii Sports, a sensor bar, an AV cable, a Wii stand, a Wii Remote, and a Nunchuk controller for even more exciting game-control possibilities.
